Xacuti Chicken Recipe – Yummy Best Chicken Recipes

Xacuti Chicken is a curry ready in Goa, India, with difficult spicing, including sliced, white poppy seeds or grated coconut & large dried red chilies. It is too known as chicken chacuti in Portuguese. It is the best healthy recipes and best chicken recipes.

Ingredients:

For the chicken

  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 kg chicken, cut into small pieces

For the paste

  • 5.1 cm piece of fresh root ginger
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 green chilli

For the onion mixture

  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 2.5 cm piece of fresh root ginger
  • 1 large coconut
  • 1 teaspoon peanut oil
  • 2 green chilli (chopped)
  • 5 cloves garlic

For the spice mixture

  • 3 cardamom (peeled)
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 star anise
  • 0.6 cm nutmeg
  • 5.1 cm cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon aniseed
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 10 red chillies
  • 1 mace flower
  • 1.3 cm turmeric

For the last part of recipe

  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 63 ml water
  • 2 teaspoons peanut oil
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander

Cooking method of Xacuti Chicken Recipe – Yummy Best Chicken Recipes :

  1. It is very easy recipes to cook. Preserve the chicken pcs in the turmeric & salt and keep aside.
  2. Make a paste of garlic, coriander, ginger, chillies and include to the chicken & preserve for half an hour.
  3. Heat up 1 tsp oil in saucepan and saute 2 sliced onions, ginger, green chillies, garlic for 3 minutes. Include 1 grated coconut & saute for another 4-6 minutes. Once onions are hard, keep aside.
  4. On a dry saucepan separately roast cardamom, cinnamon, aniseed, black pepper corn, coriander seeds, poppy seeds, Kashmiri red chillies, mace flower, star anise, nutmeg, & turmeric.
  5. Compose Xacuti masala by grinding jointly the spice mixture and onion mix.
  6. Heat up 2 tsp oil in saucepan and add the residual 2 sliced onions & green chillies. After a minute add the preserved chicken pieces. After two minutes include Xacuti masala & water. Cook for 15-20 minutes or till chicken is loving.
  7. Decorate with coriander leaves. Serve up hot with Indian chapatis or rice. Serve lemon locks at the side. You can also Serve it as healthy dinner.
